Suggestions for webpage colour palette?

Ok so this is more about your preferences.. What do you think that would be best colour scheme for webpage which is only about text game? I can't decide... so just gimme some shots of colours which you find pleasing when you read a lot of text :) Max 4 colours together.

The background color should be anything that has good contrast with the text, also when it's text gaming, background color shouldn't be too gorgeous to make it more annoying to focus. It's should be as milf as possible and texts should be simple may be Ariel black size 10. Bgcolor that are most preferable and light crimson, light gray, very light shade of blue, but not green. Best wishes for the website.

Thanks ... such a opinions are really the best way to help me I appreciate it....since it's work for friend and he left it on my decision without anything concrete on his mind. And since their original site consisted red... I was horrified by that :)
