@MikefromEP: You are so right. Joseph would want me to express this to you Mike, "Be kind to one another, be happy, it's important"....His sister told me he died with a smile on his face. She told me he died loving me. Which has been such a blessing. We fought, we laughed, we cried together...but in the end, our feeling persisted in something good. Not a sexual thing. A spiritual love.

We were going to toss his ashes, but Brit (his sister) can't..not just yet, she keeps the urn in front of her and "talks" to him, (or get's frustrated and curses him. Joseph, (detail guy that he was) left her a long list of "things to do" typical Joseph. I miss him Mike, in his last letter as he lay dying, he asked, "Will you come and find me David, when it's your own time?"....Thats now my number one goal.

@MikefromEP: He could be silly, we both laughed about the night he showed his @ss. But seriously Mike, he was a good, creative and talented man. I remain connected with his surviving sister, she has been a wonderful support and blessing. Few people really appreciate how spiritual and kind a man he really was. He was straight, but loved me in the way he could. In his last letter to me on his death bed, he asked, "David will you find me when the time comes when you too pass?"

@MikefromEP: Yes there was. But in the end, we both were at peace with each other and had forgiven transgressions. His own sister has told me since his death how much he really loved me. I am okay with that.

@MikefromEP: Yes, there were many. oddly enough, when his sister went through his private journals there were few altercations mentioned. But you're right, women did not understand there is a hugh spectrum of ways people love. Joseph wasn't "gay" but he loved me in the way he did. It's complicated. People need labels. We didn't. Why would a straight man ask me to marry him?...at a glance that makes no sense. Not even to me...but we had our own concept of "love" so, who knows?
