Do you care about environmental protection?

I ask because it seems like the extent of people's care is occasionally recycling and shopping at Whole Foods.

People are still doing all the things that indirectly cause unsustainable consumption, pollution and habitat destruction. It's this cognitive dissonance of people believing one thing and doing another.

How do you show that you care if you do?

As a committed and lifelong outdoors person I do care about the topic. Outside of the basic things (recycling, limiting water use in accordance with where I live, choosing sustainable products and 'boycotting' others, etc), I donate my services to some environmentally-focused organizations and invest in companies with a message of sustainability.

I also tackle anyone I see littering, sit on their chests so they can't move and poke them until they promise to never do it again. :)

I gave up even trying to argue with the people who say "What difference can one person make" let alone engaging climate change deniers. It's a pointless endeavor. I just do my thing since it's all I can do.
