Sadly not. My parents forced me to wear shoes. But since my teenage I began to go barefoot the most time.

I just see no sense in kids wearing shoes!

I do agree. Do kids still go barefoot where you are?
coldshield · 51-55, M
They do but not as much as before!! All depends on location and cultural groups

I wasnt kept barefoot , but I was often barefoot except at school .Living in a warm climate meant there was little need for shoes .I was either barefoot or wearing flip flops .

I think a new generation of barefoot kids will hopefully set a new and lasting trend

I begged my mom to keep me barefoot! I would lose one or both shoes at every opportunity LoL! She got the picture! I only wanted socks or bare feet!

Well, in retrospect it was so that I didn't get bits of glass and metal embedded in my feet and plantar warts. So I see their perspective now, but back then shoes were an uncomfortable and hot encumbrance.
