Did you ever really love me or was it just a game to you?

Who are you asking?
OWise1 · F
@LachrymoseLamer: Your question was "If you could ask anyone in the world just one question with the guarantee of an honest and truthful answer, who and what would you ask?"...as such, that's what I would ask of someone I thought was a decent person but found out differently.

@OWise1: That's cool. I just wondered if you were asking someone in your life specifically. :)
OWise1 · F
Well if I could I would, but honestly, I don't think I would receive an honest answer regardless, as I think this particular person is truly incapable of telling the truth...you know a web weaver of deceit.

@OWise1: I know the type, yes. :/
OWise1 · F
@LachrymoseLamer: I don't understand what is so hard about being honest and upfront. Why do people feel the need to be deceptive? Boggles the brain.
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
@OWise1: I can't understand it, but I guess there could be any number of reasons.
OWise1 · F
@LachrymoseLamer: Hmmm well live and learn and maybe giving full trust from the beginning is not the approach to take. Maybe starting people at 0 and letting them earn your trust till it gets to be 100% is a safer and wiser way to go about relationships? Your thoughts?
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
@OWise1: Good idea but I might be inclined to start higher than 0.
Something we need to be mindful of is not punishing future relationships for the sins of past ones.
That doesn't help matters at all and can be very detrimental to what otherwise might be good chances at happiness.
OWise1 · F
@LachrymoseLamer: I agree and yet we can't help but learn from the past and what's that they say...something about doing the same things over and over again expecting different results equals insanity. So as we learn, we also are perhaps more aware of the red flags if any that are present. Who knows exactly?
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
@OWise1: Almost everything we do in life we're playing it by ear.
We can only do the best we can, like you said trying not to repeat past mistakes and being open to and aware of all flags good and bad.
OWise1 · F
😊 you are so right and I do believe that all things happen for a reason...and in this instance it was for the best.
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
@OWise1: Yes. And I'm glad it was. :)
Things like this give us the opportunity to learn and grow, so as long as we make use of these chances nothing's a waste.
OWise1 · F
True very true :) You're very wisdom filled :)
LachrymoseLamer · 51-55, M
@OWise1: I don't know about that. Hehe. But thank you, I do appreciate your saying so. 😊
OWise1 · F
Well I think you are :)

@OWise1: Thank you. 😀
