No. More times than not a person acting very aggressive with a knife, club, gun or even threating with hands and feet will not end well for the person defending themselves. There have been many cases where unarmed people have been killed trying to talk the attacker down or avoiding them.

I don’t like laws based on “feelings “. Both sides do it . The reps have castle doctrine (stand your ground ), and the dems have trans bathrooms and sports . Both are based on “feelings” . (I FEEL threatened. I FEEL like a girl ).
