@cherokeepatti: I remember that!!! Why on earth did they ever end it?

@Meowsolini: I think because of so many women leaving the homes to work, dairy delivery doesn't work so well when the products sit out all day before you get home...some of the deliveries were before people went to work but not all of them. And hardly any local dairies any more, that's really sad in my opinion. I remember hearing the glass milk bottles making a little clinking sound when the delivery guy sat them down on the door step...a very nostalgic sound for me.

@Meowsolini: We got Braum's dairy stores here, they started out selling ice cream but you can buy a lot of dairy and grocery products there now besides the restaurant foods....so many people have cars and I guess that's another factor in stopping delivery of dairy.
