Can somebody please tell me how the rain impacts cable t.v.?

I turned on the tv and it wouldn't stay consistent with the picture. It kept going on and off and finally I turned it off...was driving me crazy! It's been raining a lot..Does that have an impact on cable t.v.?

I was having the same problem with ATT Uverse this week. Picture kept freezing every few seconds.

I wouldn't think cable, but it sure ruins satellite if it's heavy rain

Its possible but it would have to be heavy rain to impact cable tv.
