They dont have to. They can deliver several shipping containers of nuclear waste into US Port cities and blow them up with explosives. The fallout laden dust will kill tens of thousands within weeks and keep killing for a decade.. No missiles required and with the customs services cut back and tasked to immigration there shouldnt be a problem slipping the containers through..😷

@Ohplease47 Sorry. But the Pentagon have been warning about this since the fifties. A dirty bomb is very low tech and and spent fuel store can provide the raw material. No rocket science required. You can even spread the dust from a crop duster..😷
