What ICE is doing to people
Terrible things are unfolding beyond our walls. At all hours, day and night, defenseless souls are torn from their dwellings, stumbling into the streets with nothing but a small bundle and a few coins that will soon be taken from them. The world is breaking apart—families scattered like leaves before the wind, fathers wrenched from mothers, children from both. And somewhere, a schoolboy returns at dusk to an empty threshold, calling out to parents who will never answer again.
