If u found your childs diary while cleaning their room...would u read it ?

My answer is this. No. If they are doing okay and show no signs of being in a state of pain and dismay I wont read it. Would you read a diary if you knew it was your childs. 👶

I'm not sure. I'd like to say no, but part of me knows there aren't always signs. People can be very good at hiding things, but I would never want to invade their privacy, so this, for me, is a very difficult thing to determine.

I understand. Note diaries arent always bad. Its just documentation of a persons life.

@Zonuss: I understand, but that's part of what worries me. I had a journal when I was younger, and I wrote about my unacknowledged eating disorder and mental illness. I wrote about suicide and death and feeling empty, andnd it would kill me to learn my child was struggling through anything like what I had, or anything at all, and I didn't know or just sat by.
