There are some protests about perceived absolute power, or divine right to rule.

The protestors demand absolute support and no variation to their message.

Your second sentence is incorrect and misleading.

The protesters are advocating a return to the Constitution / rule of law, and reminding people that America rejected Kings not only in 1776, but when Washington turned down an offer of the kingship of the US.

@meJess I'm not sure how you leap to that conclusion, but on this planet, if someone holds a sign with a statement, or chants a slogan, that's typically all it is--a form of a statement.

If others would like to engage with the person, they could seek so to do, and the original person may or may not engage in some discourse.

In this particular political division of the planet, we used to honor a foundational legal document often referred to as "the Constitution", which defined the powers and responsibilities given to each of the branches of the Federal government which it created, and the States and the People who created it.

Among the various conditions in that document are a set of guarantees incorporated into the first ten amendments to the main text, and these include the First

Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.[103]

Freedom of speech, possibly the press, peaceable assembly, and petitioning of the Government are all part of making the statements to which you object.

Part of what they are protesting is the violation of these rights, and other fundamental guarantees, as in the Fourth

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.[103]

and the Fifth

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury...nor shall any person...be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;

and the Sixth

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.[103]

and the Eighth

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.[103]

and the Ninth

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.[103]

and the Tenth

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.[103]

as well as other amendments addressing suffrage, the status of slavery and former slaves, etc.,

as well as the statement of why the document exists, the Preamble

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
