You should be glad. Only idiot kids get married young. It's best to wait until at least 26, imo (though I dislike the institution of marriage and think it should be dismantled); because, 26 is when the frontal lobe fully matures. There's a *lot* of development in the early 20s. The person you would marry at 18 would be excessively different at 26.

You're better off.

@SeductivePrincess: Of course. The brain doesn't finish fully developing until the mid 20s. Ones capacity for rationality is maximized at 26. Give or take a year.
