Always barefoot in primary school. For gymnastics, dance and drama at secondary school. Or if we forgot our trainers.

If we forgot our PE kits in primary school we had to do the lesson in knickers and vests 😥

@GentleLucille did you wear trainers for some indoor pe?
Where could you be barefoot, if you forgot trainers? Inside only, outside on school grounds, or outside at another site, like a public field.

@Craig82 We were supposed to wear trainers for PE other than gymnastics or dance, but we had to go barefoot if we forgot them or had worn them outside. If we forgot them for outdoor games, we got detention.
