It's not something. It's a whole combination of things.
The right man,,for one; the right time and place.
When I was dating, I hated it when I'd be with some guy who thought touching me in an intimate manner while in an inappropriate setting, like placing an order with the waiter, in a restaurant, was sexy.
Good personal hygiene is essential.
And then there are the off switches. Foul language, spitting, rushing things. I have a lot of off switches. That's probably why I stopped dating.

@theowl: yes. But I seemed to find them all. Only one was a real gentleman. I had a great time whenever we went out together, because he was sweet, funny, clean, and never inappropriate. I adored him. And I adored his boyfriend too. They were the nicest couple. Still are actually. I don't see much of Robbie, since his boyfriend got into a job where he works steady days. They still have me over for dinner sometimes, but we don't go out to restaurants or movies anymore.

@theowl: I'm afraid, the way I feel right now, if I decided to start dating again, that's how I would be. I'd love to have a man, who isn't my 16 year old son, to go places with and have fun with, but to even think about a relationship, is just not on my list of fun things to do before I die.
