How is it that this site "has no affiliation with experience project " yet they connect the accounts and we were informed to transfer here

Spam. They don't connect accounts though, you can choose any username and upload your EP export, but they don't currently allow you to actually import it in. (Work in progress, though - but I mean there's no "connection", just simple export/import to new site if it ever works)
