Who else has had a near death experience?

I remember being in E.R with a frantic team running around in a frenzy, I hovered above my body, feeling warm and comfy, wondering why all the fuss, they were yelling for blood, etc. I just wanted to be left alone. It was actually very pleasant and I didn't want to go back. Never did go "into the light" though. Guess I wasn't dead long enough. lol

You weren't dead enough. Lol. Seriously though, that is really cool. Too bad you had to go through all that to get that experience though. Yikes
I had no idea soooo many people have had similar experiences, very few being actually fearsome.

@Coyotedave611: that's inspiration for the rest of us who are scared shitless!!

@Coyotedave611: Has it changed your belief system at all?
@SarcasmQueen: Having been an EMT/Paramedic, I've seen the last moments of life in many others, always did wonder at what appeared to be "surprised" or almost smiling expressions. Don't forget, "Apple" founder Steve Jobs last words were, "WOW! OH WOW!!" he obviously was seeing something amazing. Don't be scared hon. :)
@SarcasmQueen: @SarcasmQueen: Absolutely. I have a sense that religion is really rather beside the point it's ALL loving energy, but thats just how I felt personally.

@Coyotedave611: I've always felt that way too i.e. religion itself isn't the end all be all. I feel religion are just different pathways people choose to get to the same guy/gal/it/place and really it makes no difference how, just that love is the way.
@SarcasmQueen: So there you go...I think you are exactly on the right path and have summed it up perfectly. Just be at peace with others and forgive, my best friend on EP (Joseph84) died this past Oct. (a long terminal illness) Joseph wasn't a bit religious, but "spiritual" in the way he was. His family told me Joseph died with what appeared to be a smile on his face. So yes, I heartily agree with your response. Thanks for a well put response.
