Pretty dumb question I think. It's more that would you support him if he was being bullied by somebody who is an existential threat to you. Someone who if he manages to get away with bullying Zelensky will move on to someone closer to you, and do the same again until he's a far more powerful threat to you.
And I'd be happy if most of the help I gave was kit I had lying around unused that alternatively I'd have to pay to have it scrapped. I could also pretend I was being amazingly helpful by using it's depreciating value on the books rather than admitting its real value to me which is pretty much zero.

@22Michelle Exactly! Of course, Michelle, there are those who, having gained his trust, would suddenly stop helping him, profit from his sudden misfortune by demanding he hand over his family's silverware, and then form a friendship with the bully.
