why specifically a 1080p? I can't really see the point after 1080i, but my eyes aren't fantastic.

@dirge well I had a 720p HDTV but now I have a 1080p Samsung HDTV LCD and it looks better

@Godgundam91 yeah, 720 to 1080 is a pretty big difference. 1080p to 1080i less so, but some. and 2/4k are just wasted for me.
