I think I gave up on ideals a long time ago. People are a lot of things, but almost as much as anything else, they're flawed. I don't think the concept of flaws works with idealism. There are traits I value more than others, and there are several people that possess such traits, but I don't buy the idea of "the one". I'll take whoever is compatible enough to build a future with, and if that fails, then I'll find someone else
