My friend is low key over the top when it comes to not drinking and driving

Like obviously don’t drive while drunk or buzzed, but he’ll literally refuse to drive somewhere if he had 1 beer 5 hours ago. Like it doesn’t register with him that if he doesn’t feel it anymore, it’s worn off enough to drive

Better safe than sorry, so I won't argue with your low-key over-the-top careful friend, but 1 beer and 5 hours later, he'd test legal, unless he's got some special disorder metabolizing alcohol. Still, if he feels unsafe, then he's unsafe.

Everyone has different senses of responsibility. I operate equipment that involves safety of life at my work. I will not consume a drop of alcohol within 12 hours of going to work. That is my personal standard.

I'm the same way and i wasn't always that way until i learned it doesn't always matter how you actually feel

That's how I used to think. I also thought getting an hour of sleep after drinking ment I was sober.

Boss: have you been drinking

Me: Nah, last night I had a some beers.

🤷Technically not a lie

@Ozymandiaz oh you had a cocktail 3 weeks ago? Better not drive now 🙄
@Zeuro Dont be flippant
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@Ozymandiaz why shouldn’t I be?
Shame on your mindset
