Shhh I won't tell anyone, but are you soft hearted but appear tough on the outside?

Some people put on a tough exterior to protect themselves...like a crab..the crab has a hard shell but inside it's soft. Many people have soft hearts but don't want to risk getting hurt, so they play the tough guy or tough girl act until someone gets to know them.
