(((((HUGS))))) Yesterday was the Canadian day of remembrance for all of the First Nations Native children who were ripped from their families and sent to catholic run "boarding schools", forced to assimilate and murdered those that didn't, and then buried in unmarked graves, orange is their color too

In reality we only get the new Indigenous Day to replace Columbus Day, the same with Irish People with St. Patrick's Day, WHILE other marginalized groups get full months, groups that never got genocided here in the United States and Canada, and the US government and mass media still ignores. I should also add that I have zero issues with the majority of "illegal immigrants" as roughly 99% of them are trying to make a better life for themselves, and they are also First Nations Native heritage like myself, we had no borders before Columbus.

In reality, hatred against "illegal immigrants" is really racism against First Nations Native heritage.
