Which year is crazier ...2020..or...2024 ? 🤯 😬 😱

I still say because of the pandemic, I gotta go with 2020. We can talk about everything
from George Floyd to Joe Biden winning the election almost a week after the actual voting day. But that pandemic was something else. Something we had never seen in our life before. Do you agree ? This year is wild but it's a different kind of wild. It's more like a chess game. 🎲 2020 was like a bloody hardcore wrestling cage match. 👀 What do you think 🤔. Best answer wins. ☺🌍

2020 regardless of if my situation improved or not was the weirdest year of my life, lock downs, masks, line ups, working from home. Everything changed.

@JimboSaturn I KNOW it was all win and awesome

@Gibbon Social media has demolished our society. Every man and woman is for themselves. And greed and the lust for power is at an all time high. But there are still more good days than bad ones. And people too. 🤔

I retired this year and it has been a bit stressful. Right foot has been in pain pretty much nonstop and a massive drop in in my T level has had some major effects. 2020 was much more disruptive and scary.

Not enough hindsight to make the comparison because we are still in 2024 where as 2020 is history
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@black4white Are you sure about that 🤔

Waiting on monkey pox
@Zonuss A pox can still become a pandemic, it can spread like wildfire like smallpox did in the mid to late 1800's.
@MarineBob Mpox spreads only thru close contact between people. Covid spread easily thru the air. Very different mechanisms.

@ElwoodBlues Exactly.

2020 was a god year for me. 2024 has thrown a few curveballs my way but I'm persevering.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Sapio What was special about 2020 in your opinion?
Sapio · 51-55, M
@Zonuss I wouldn't say anything was special but my line of work wasn't truly affected by the pandemic. I mean, there were times when I couldn't go to my favorite restaurant in the city I was in. But that was about it. I wasn't a fan of the mask mind you. But I wore when I went to places like Wal Mart.

Personally for me 2024. 2020 was good, it was more chaotic looking at the world but at home we were doing fine.
2020 was chaotic. 2024 is worse on a personal level though.

Y2K!! The entire world was shutting down!!

Zonuss · 46-50, M
@BohemianBabe You're right.
DDonde · 31-35, M
2020 still for sure. Of course the year's not over yet
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@DDonde I agree.
MethDozer · M
2020 was a brief glimpse of what an ideal society and lifestyle would be like
MethDozer · M
@Zonuss It wasn't anything like a motion picture event. Sadly there likely won't be in my lifetime.

@JimboSaturn I actually agree. We became conscious there for a minute. Now people have lost their minds. ☺
It has been going from bad to worse since the late 80's.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@NativePortlander1970 Culturally speaking...I believe the 1990s were more thorough and progressive than the glamours 1980s.
@Zonuss The lefties started taking over and rewriting history under the Clintons, specifically under killary.
