I still say because of the pandemic, I gotta go with 2020. We can talk about everything from George Floyd to Joe Biden winning the election almost a week after the actual voting day. But that pandemic was something else. Something we had never seen in our life before. Do you agree ? This year is wild but it's a different kind of wild. It's more like a chess game. 🎲 2020 was like a bloody hardcore wrestling cage match. 👀 What do you think 🤔. Best answer wins. ☺🌍
2020 regardless of if my situation improved or not was the weirdest year of my life, lock downs, masks, line ups, working from home. Everything changed.
2020 was good and bad. My retirement started first day of March and I was looking forward to Vickie and I spending more than just weekends doing our adventures out and about together. The pandemic immediately put a stop to that. But we were okay being cooped up together. Now I'm facing 2024 alone and see nothing but turmoil and chaos and the world going to hell in a hand basket. That makes 2024 the craziest year I've ever seen in my lifetime and that includes the chaos of the 60s. Society also is becoming crazier with every year that passes.
@Gibbon Social media has demolished our society. Every man and woman is for themselves. And greed and the lust for power is at an all time high. But there are still more good days than bad ones. And people too. 🤔
I retired this year and it has been a bit stressful. Right foot has been in pain pretty much nonstop and a massive drop in in my T level has had some major effects. 2020 was much more disruptive and scary.
@Zonuss I wouldn't say anything was special but my line of work wasn't truly affected by the pandemic. I mean, there were times when I couldn't go to my favorite restaurant in the city I was in. But that was about it. I wasn't a fan of the mask mind you. But I wore when I went to places like Wal Mart.
