What's your best "small world" story?

Most people have "small world" stories--meeting a person from your small hometown on the other side of the world on the only day you'd both be in the same spot, etc.

I would go with one of the guys on my high school chess team was later at my Navy Reserve Center as staff, 10 years later!

@SomeMichGuy He was a Senior when I was a Sophomore and when I came back from 8 years of active duty. He was waiting at the Reserve Center.
My stepdad was the Commander of the Marine Corps before I arrived!
