Can you wear what ever you want to a wedding.

The reason I ask is because my mom went to a wedding today. It was a church wedding. My mom called me right after the wedding to complain about how one of my cousins was dressed. She wore leggings and a tank top. My mom is all upset over it. I was happy I didn't have to go. So is my mom over reacting. I see her point but it is hard for me to see how this is the end of the world.

She should have shown more respect to the wedding couple and their families. Your mom has a legitimate reason to be concerned but she is over reacting just a bit.

The funny thing is if I had been there I wouldn't have noticed her unless her hair was on fire. LOL

@spandexblue: haha yeah well sounds like it was a traditional, religious ceremony and these ceremonies require decent, acceptable clothes for the occasion.
