What would you think of a person who claims government shouldn’t provide accommodation for homeless because they shouldn’t make up for an individuals

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand look around. huge homeless population which is problematic. on the other hand I am not so sure that they were not failed by society. they shouldn't be provided for free but should have to put some work in according to their ability to receive anything.
