bring it inside and let it hide under a blanket or your bed. stay next to it so that it isnt as scared and cuddle it as much as possible. i do all of those things with my cats so it would probably wotk with a dog too

there isn't much to do,only thing you could do is get medication that makes them relax. Hopefully he/she will be able to get through this without too much anxiety. My sister's dog has the same problem. But they already had this problem for a few days, because some people can't wait for just a few days.

Keep it indoor. Even then dogs will be restless.
