As I strolled through a garden fair, Admiring flowers beyond compare, I stumbled upon a curious sight, A blooming poeny, oh what delight!
Its petals soft, its colors bright, I leaned in close, what a lovely sight, But as I praised its delicate sheen, My tongue slipped, oh what a scene!
Instead of "poeny," out it came, A word that sounds quite the same, The gardener gasped, his face turned red, I quickly realized what I had said.
Oh, the embarrassment, the shame I bore, For mistaking a flower, oh what's more, For a word with a much different meaning, A slip of the tongue, truly unbecoming!
So beware, dear friends, when in the garden, And speaking of flowers, don't let your guard down, For one wrong word, a simple slip, Might turn a poeny into quite the quip!

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays Lol, no just around Toronto, but it's not a good time to plant yet. I will get out and clean up last year's growth though.
