Therapists have to keep everything a secret unless you might hurt yourself or others, right?

There is something that I want to tell her about, besides just the eating disorder, but I am scared she won't keep it a secret even though it doesn't involve anyone getting hurt.

If she breaks confidentiality then she is basically throwing her career away. There is very little chance that she would tell anyone. Who are you worried she will tell?

Mainly my family, since they might judge me. I know she will have to tell them about the eating disorder though.
