In the US, the only identified risk of the mRNA vaccines was a slight uptick in myocarditiis.

320 cases in 7 million patients. That's 0.0046% And the myocarditis clears up over time. Odds of DEATH among the unprotected is 0.5%; odds of long covid are 5X higher. That's about 500 to 1 for the math challenged.
Any sane analysis would tell these people who contracted myocarditis that their odds of avoiding severe complications are FAR FAR better (500 to 1) with the vaccine vs facing the virus unprotected.

So that's 59 vaccine deaths over 2 years vs 139,500 Covid deaths over two years. yeah, I'd say the vaccine is safer; how about you??

Nothing sad here. It happens. Just like it's sad anyone dies in a car crash, which happens a thousand times more often.

Far more would have died without the vaccine! Millions of times over.
That truly would have been sad!
Not everyone has the same immune system. Why babies often died over a century ago. And now they don't as often.
All because of vaccines for hundreds of different viruses. Yet a very small number of babies still do die, despite the current vaccines.
The vastly greater good does matter.
