They're more fun with friends. I only like far cry after the 3'rd one and up. Original and Farcry 2 are unplayable in my opinion. Farcry 3 is a solo campaign though so you can't play with friends until farcry 4. It's a fairly casual game so it's easy to hop into. My personal favorite is farcry 4 due to the story. Farcry primal is also a single player experience and I've yet to play it.
