@JessyHellbound: Hahahaha that's ok! I'll be standing by with a first aid kit. He was severely abused, so he's really hand shy and will nip. The previous owners put cigarettes out on his back, beat him mercilessly..that was my ex roommate and her family. Now he gets plenty of live and cuddles from me..he's currently napping on my thigh.
@LivingDeadGirl: holy cow! that sounds like my dog! I got her from the pound cuz they were gonna put her down and the owner didn't want to pick her up KNOWING she was gonna get put down. Took her home and found the cigarette burns on the underside of both her ears plus a few scars in odd places. She acts the same way except instead of nipping she will shake when random people go to pet her and tinkles just a teeny bit. But I love my girl.
@JessyHellbound: Awww that breaks my heart! I hate that people would do such awful things to such sweet creatures. He's asleep on my thigh right now, he won't cuddle with anyone else, won't follow anyone else. If I have to go to the bathroom, he waits outside the door patiently. Right now I'm in a lot of pain because of my gallbladder, and he's stayed right by my side, even through puking and crying, he'll scootch closer to me, but he'll never get up, save for when he has to go out.

@LivingDeadGirl: as a kid I saw my neighbor terrorize his dogs and one day i saw him kill the poor thing. well he saw that i had seen it and started jumping the fences to my house with a shot gun. I was so little back then and ran inside and grabbed the phone he got in my backyard and saw i had it and turned back. that kinda shit man...
