Could be a medical issue such as a hormone imbalance or depression (which might be linked to low levels of neurotransmitters such as GABA) which is probably a lot more common than any of us realize. People shouldn't be so quick to make snap judgements.

Truth. Depression is a bitch!

@ZenLioness: It's a thief too, steals your joy and your time.

So true. One never knows what is going on internally with an individual. It's just like those who are in pain due to fibromyalgia or lupus. They ofthen cannot exercise and feel a lack of ambition and actually cannot do it.

@cherokeepatti: Time can take or give you so much depending on how you look at it.

@OWise1: I have fibro. I try to go walk every day

@OWise1: There are nutritional ways to heal many of those health issues if a person were to research it. I never heard of fibromyalgia when I was younger and now it seems to be common, I believe that the standard American diet may very well be the root cause of it.

@cherokeepatti: In part nutrition plays a role in all diseases as cells must be healthy for things to work. However, research is showing that fibromyalgia may have a neurological base combined with some genetic and environmental as well as hormonal contributors to the condition.
