@ShockWave1983: Oh crap yeah. well i guess im guilty as charged for Adblock :O but if i start to like the site enough. who knows. i may become a VIP so they get some extra help on keeping site running
@ShockWave1983: ah yeah i dont get the little side ad bar with the adblock oh. i do when i turn off adblock though.. adblock says its hiding 37 ads O.o damn thats a lot for one page
@ShockWave1983: sorta new here.. but i pretty much know the site like the back of my hand from being a 7 year EP member. if you where there as well? yeah i just use a tablet or my desktop. no phone here either :/
@madscottish: I'm single. Working part time for minimum wage. Living in a room in someone's home. Can't afford stuff like computers or tablets, but my friend has this one I can use whenever I visit. I also, sometimes use the computers at the library.
@ShockWave1983: Minimum wage is a disgusting pay out. you have to slave your ass off working to only just barely feed your self. Im currently unemployed and have a kid to look after.. hard times
@madscottish: yeah, people keep telling me I could get more on welfare, but then I'd be stuck in a rut I'm afraid I would never dig my way out of. I fear getting bogged down in a system. I like my work. I work with children at a daycare. The hours are short, the pay is small, the people are small. LOL even the sinks and toilets are small. It's like working in a doll house. I love the kids, though.
@madscottish: I guess that's true. I don't really notice. My needs are few. I don't eat a lot. My rent is small, because I help out around the house when I'm not working and I'm happy to babysit in the evening. Especially after the babies are asleep.
@madscottish: no. Looking after other people's kids is fun. You get to enjoy the fun, and have none of the financial responsibilities and when they're sick, it's the parents who spend the long hours worrying. I care, but it's second hand caring.
@ShockWave1983: i look after my nephews sometimes. omg they are such hard work. i do have my own responsibilities to look after as well but shes no where near as bad as my newphews. i always found it harder personally to look after other peoples kids.
@madscottish: I have some unruly brats, too, but in general, in a daycare setting there is a rather strict routine and a schedule to keep to, so the kids get used to knowing what's expected, but no two kids are the same, so every day is different. I've been peed on, puked on, spat on, and pooped on. I've been told I'm horrible and they hate me and I've been told I'm great and they love me. Sometimes it's the same kid who says both, at different times. I just enjoy the kids.
