What comes to your mind when u hear the word March ? 🐝 🍯
Hello ladies and gentlemen. Yes March is already here. I know it is hard to believe because it seems like 2023 just started a week ago. Now what are you feeling right now? Are you feeling like Spring is in the air. Do you see the pollen on the ground. Can you hear the buzzing of the bees. 🐝 And the wind blowing through the trees. 🌲 When I hear the word March I think about college basketball. 🏀 There's a tournament they have called March Madness which is the greatest sports event on Earth. 🌍 What comes to your mind when you hear the word March. Best answer wins. ☺️🌹
We just got the most snow this year . It really wasn’t that much for us compared to past winters but the high school basketball tournament had to be rescheduled. I think of March winds, my birthday, and fishing ( it’s almost here) love my nightly spring fishing I’ve got my net and flashlight all ready.
My garden daffodils have been in flower for about two weeks now. There are snowdrops everywhere, the crocuses (crocii?) are coming into bloom; bushes now budding. I saw a large patch of primroses in flower a few days ago. A big bundle of frog-spawn in my garden pond, too.
Still winter in Canada during March but the snow will start receeding. I think of St. Patricks Day mainly, I think of melting snow and slush. It kinda an ugly month here, dirty snow but getting excited for spring.
@Zonuss You may get the occasional snow in May but for the most part, the flowers are starting to come out and the trees are about to bud. It's spring feeling.
March is the last of the ick. It’s bone chilling damp and angry wind and dirty slush piles and boot sucking mud, but when the sun shines, it’s warm and reminds me of impending lovely April. I’m never really present in March.
