how many people have milked a cow?

I know this is random, but is it weird to want to milk a cow? I've never even seen a cow up close

I grew up on a dairy farm so, I've milked a cow though as a rule, a machine was normally used

When you have more than 40 cows, milking twice to three times a day by hand isn't practical..
Hand milking was reserved for cows that had issues with the milking machine for various reasons
