What's up with all these new "features" on SW?

The font is now smaller, and I see a slider next to groups and posts to make them public or private.

What's your opinion on these new "features"? Have they improved your SW experience?

so like that slider on this thread, if I were to turn off "public" does that mean only the OP (which is you in this case) would see my reply?

For all the other features -mostly useless.

@CestManan I'm not sure what it does exactly, but I think it hides the group from your profile. Maybe more, but I don't really see how it could have any effect on your comments on other people's posts or why you would want to control that per group.

@NerdyPotato I think it hides the group from other people so they won't see that you're a member of a certain group

@NerdyPotato I have given up trying to figure out how they run this place. They KEEP coming up with these weird ideas but they don't really improve anything.
People express frustration non stop but things seem to keep going downhill.

@rrraksamam It might do something, I guess the admins will update us on the exciting changes soon.

@rrraksamam yes, but does it also remove you from the members list of that group? Does it hide posts in that group from people who are not following it? Can friends still see all your memberships? (Since it only shows non-public and does not explicitly say private.) Or is that merely a design concern? 🤷

I guess we'll have to wait the announcement to know what it does and doesn't affect.

But I don't even see a post button. There is no option to post anything in the group.

i turned the slider off and logged out. I can't see it in my groups anymore. So it does hide the group from others.

@NerdyPotato I logged out and checked group members. It says "There are no users to show."

@rrraksamam there's more than a full page of them, so I guess that's just not available when logged out and not because of the switch.

But I don't see you in the list when I'm logged in either, so if you're still a member that's hidden from there too.
