Do u think life woulda been harder without EP or SW ? ✨🤔✨

Hello ladies and gentlemen.
Happy Halloween 🎃
Do you believe that your life would have been harder without EP or SW.
Would it have been easier.
Would it have not made a difference at all.
Are you sure about that.
Think about that person who affected your life.
Think about what you learn from the things seen or
said to you on this site. What do you think ?
You've been on this social media outlet for years. Surely it has impacted you in some way or another.
Comments. Best answer wins. ☺️

I can honestly say without a doubt that my life would have been harder without SW & EP. I can say without a doubt that I would not be here to write this answer out without some of my friends from EP & SW. They saved my life on more than one occasion. I would be dead without a few friends here. My life has been hard, but it would have been worse without my friends here, their love and support over the years is a reason why I keep coming back and why I am still here.

Hm. I think probably so, yes. My world had narrowed down to one voice in my ear all the time, and that voice preferred knocking me down to building me up. I was buried and lost. Finding a place where folks supported each other, said NICE things to each other, and shared their hobbies and interests and all the ways they honored and gave time to their unique selves dug me up and set me free in more ways than I knew I needed. Maybe I’d have found a better place on my own, but knowing me, it would have taken much longer and been much less effective.

@JustNik Well you tried and made things much better for you.

Much harder without. I had a great relationship of over 5 years with someone here and we have sinced moved on but we still talk from time and share a lot in common.

We met on EP and continued a bit on SW.

I think of her now as a spiritual friend. I feel we are still linked in some way.

We always seem to reappear in eachothers lives when one of us is going through a lot in life and going through major life events/growth/turning points.

I love her and wish her the best. Tough times.

@GeistInTheMachine Great story there.

I'm leaning towards no difference. Life is hard in general and comes with it good and bad times. They would have come regardless of my being here. I've been on several places like this that have closed down over the years. The one I miss is Multiply back in the earlier 2000's.
I am glad for some friends I have made.

Probably harder without. I came on EP, initially, after I had just given birth to my first child. My brain was all over the place, I was bored and probably a little depressed too.

EP helped a great deal.

@MartikaDuponte1 Well said.

Its hard to say. I first came across EP from a google search wanting to post a question anonymously online. Without that outlet i think i probably wouldve suffered abit more than if i didnt have it. The first person i met on EP pretty much changed my life so i am greatful for that experience. Now, on SW i could take it or leave it. It makes no difference to me.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Isthisit Thank you.

sure. i used EP as kind of like a place to unload my emotional baggage and I think I am better for it. it helps to talk about trauma and stuff as a means to healing. SW is more about making friends and of course without friends life is not really worth living. so i dont know if it wouldve been harder but its definitely better with.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Penny It helps having a different perspective from other people. Thanks for sharing.

Not really harder. But it has been really nice to come on and talk with many friends that I have made while posting here. I did love EP and was sorry to see it go and I hope the same fate doesn't happen here.
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@ReneeT I loved EP too. I was a new member there for only a few months before it closed down.
ReneeT · 61-69, M
@ravenwind43 So nice to hear from you again. I hope that all is going well for you.
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@ReneeT You are one of the nicest people here:) I'm doing alright at the moment and hope you are as well:)
OldBrit · 61-69, M
Not sure about harder or easier. I would say being on here and reading the many posts and messages has massively informed and enlightened.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@OldBrit Thanks for stopping by.

In all honesty, I don't know.
If I had never come across EP and then SW, I might have found something else, something different and I can't know how my life would have been then.
But EP and to some extent SW have been pivotal for me in a lot of ways and for that alone I am happy I found it when I did.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@SW-User Ok.
When I joined EP in 2015, I was in a deep depression and needed an outlet, and EP was the perfect distraction. So it did make a difference for me. And I'm still here, healed, healthy, and happy. 😄
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@DreamyCrush Good for you.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I don't think it has made a difference in my happiness, but I've never really examined that.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@JimboSaturn You should.

All I know is that you would have saved the girl and left the jars of embryos.

lol

@SW-User 😂 Whatever.
