Like a ghost. Or a wandering spirit. A comet of fire in the sky. A strange beast. An odd or weird looking person. I felt one ghost before. Seen demons too. What have you seen SW. Tell us your story. Yes. 🐍. 🙂
I stayed at a very old mansion that is now a luxury hotel. When i went into the little Chapel in the grounds i heard footsteps and felt a presence but i couldn't see anyone. When i left the Chapel i turned around and could see a Jewish looking man. I discovered the mansion was used to hold German prisoners of war and even Rudolf Hess was held there. They would ply them with drink and get them to talk.
I lived in a somewhat spirited house for 20 years. I never noticed it as a child but when I grew up I started to notice things. Things would beep in the house for no real reason like phones or smoke detectors, I remember when I was 18 there was a very small earthquake which shook my bedroom. That was real there was but I lived in the UK and are unusual and I’ve never experienced one since. I heard strange noises occasionally, a feeling that someone was watching me whenever I was on my own. My dogs used to look up the ceiling every so often. The ceiling once fell on my brothers head and something touched him. My brothers hamster disappeared but the cage was locked we never found the hamster again. The thing that really bothered me though was that I was staying in my old bedroom when I was about 30 years old as I was looking after my parents dog. I couldn’t sleep very well that night as I felt unsettled. Already I kept having this feeling I was being watched but I remember in the morning I woke up in my old bedroom and this really weird smell kept getting stuck up my nose. Smelled like a musty smell but very odd like something had decayed. My parents joked it was probably my brothers hamster that died all those years earlier. That gave me the creeps as it smelled like it could have been.
@Zonuss I can’t say it was haunted because I’ve experienced a haunted home and it wasn’t nice. My childhood home was a nice ghost/spirit so I called it spirited as it was a lovely house to live in really.
I have seen, or thought I saw a few things that made me nervous. Animals in the woods, people standing alongside the road at night but when I passed them, they weren't seen in the mirror. I was driving through the VA highlands near a civil war battlefield, and I thought I saw union and confederate soldiers, but hey, it was a foggy rainy night, it could have been anything.
No but my husband and my son have both seen a dark faceless monk like figure standing in an old coaching inn when we were on holiday in Wales. They both saw this at the same time, in the middle of the day and we were eating a pub lunch. I don't believe in ghosts so I assume it was a demon. Not nice!
