@Dan193 Me too. I have to keep telling myself that if God forgives me, and he promises he does and I believe him, then he would not want me beating myself up over it. We will face these challenges the rest of our life, simply because that's the way we learn and grow to be mature in Christ. Mistakes are never meant to hurt us, nor problems. They are only there to teach us so our lives can improve. God doesn't hold grudges. It's the law of reap and sow. God forgives but sometimes we have a hard time for giving ourselves. That's what the conscience does. It wants to make sure we don't keep repeating the same mistakes and there by hurting ourselves constantly.
