While trust is an issue in any relationship, yet because of society most everyone assumes that fidelity to one person is a trust issue.

Fidelity absolutely not a trust issue. It's a social values issue. And why some polyamorous relationships work.

Yes polyamorous have serious trust issues. More than many wish to think about. Yet its not the type of fidelity issues of monogamous relationships.

So cheating really is dependent on the type of relationship. There actually are more forms of fidelity issues than just monogamous fidelity issues.
