Do u like Labor Day....be honest ok ? I remember when this was the biggest holiday of the season. It's that last hurrah of the Summer. It's the last call for alcohol. It's not what it used to be. I didn't go to the gospel fest this weekend. I am too socially conscious right now. And that monkey you know what 🐒 is out there. So it kinda sucks that I'm sitting in today. Hm. Always felt a bit like a page turner to me. The closest it got to being a last hurrah was when my girls were in school and we’d always make sure we did something fun labor day weekend before school started. I’ve always liked it though. I appreciate page turners. 😄👍
This is the first labour day I’ve actually been able to enjoy in 30 years. I’ve always spent every labour day getting kids ready for school; making sure backpacks have school supplies, hemming uniform pants, making sure they have correct uniform tops, etc etc. Tomorrow I only have my youngest returning to highschool and he’s starting gr 12 so he’s pretty much independent and has everything ready
