I went most of the year unemployed to keep myself from being driven to despair and preserve my physical wellness, depleted my life savings and called in every favor I possibly could to maintain my slipping standard of living. I am not in debt yet, but am about to go into the red and no real prospect of anything changing soon. I learned more in this little time frame and the year previous than I did in five years previous to it.
Yes it has been a blast alright. I changed from a person worried about the future of the world, thinking nobody else did, to someone who no longer does and knows almost everyone actually is terrified about it. And I can easily live or die with whatever comes next. I am liberated as a mf. lol
