What do you think about accents?

Have you ever watched something (show etc) and ever been captivated by an accent? I don't mean attracted sexually or perhaps you have but I mean drawn into an actor or character just by the accent, that's drawn you into wanting to hear more of it?

Or do you have one that just irritates you beyond anything? Either because you can't understand them or because of the way they pronounce something?

I don't mind an accent whatsoever up to the point where it becomes so intrusive that I don't understand what they're saying at all and even then, I still have a lot of respect for the person for speaking another language. Although I can't help but completely become infatuated with the more delicate accents like Scandinavian, Greek or a heavy French accent for example. I just find them very interesting and even quite beautiful to listen to for some reason.
The one pet peeve I do have is with extremely fake and forced accents, that just kind of starts to get irritating after a short while. Especially a fake Russian accent, goodness me that gets on my nerves.

I hate fake ones too. I love Scandinavian. My family is German and people often make fun of how some of my family say words.
