I don't think a single government scholar has ever said that the purpose of government is to make money. Sorry buddy - no one thinks this. Feel free to link me to any book or article that's says otherwise. I'd also like to know an example of a government that makes money. The US government functions at a deficit so large we can barely count that high.

They are supposed to be the service provider for the people. Ik things are messed up.

A country needs to generate revenue to work but it’s only a means to an end.

Government need money in order to run many things. That's why they ask you to pay taxes.

It should be a two way thing,governments should be here to do what the people say and to a lesser degree people obey the government... unless they are corrupt.

Government does not generate/make a penny on their own. All their monies are acquired from the people (individual & corporate) through taxes. It is our money they use and abuse.
