In your experience, do you think the world has become a better place to live in? Or is it progressively worse?

I think we are in the middle of a social change. I don't think it's better or worse, but at times frustrating. More things are being acknowledged now where as there were once dismissed out of hand. On the other hand, divisions have become more pronounced. I think it's too soon to say what direction things are going even if it's currently an unpleasant picture.

People are still people though. Babies still cost a fortune, teens still make bad decisions, and adults still grumble about everything. I'm grumbling right now.
