In your experience, do you think the world has become a better place to live in? Or is it progressively worse?

Half better half not. The modern day should move people foward with a lot of common sense but we still have backwards culture that prevent the people to live in the modern way and think of their own way. Of course not all people obligate to follow it but certain parts of the world still practicing it.
