Yes, and it is sad that this needs to be asked as a question of belief.
Where I live (on the Canadian prairies) the weather, year round, is getting increasingly extreme and erratic. For me personally, so far, this just means some discomfort and inconvenience, but for farmers it is causing huge losses -- and that is affecting food prices.
Meanwhile, in India, where I have friends, people have been dying in unseasonable, extreme heat waves.
Also, my dreams of travelling to Australia and seeing the Great Barrier Reef are receding fast, as more and more coral dies off as the ocean heats up.
All of this just points in the direction of worse and worse changes ahead.

@ServantOfTheGoddess How long have you lived on the prairies? Serious question. My family moved to east central AB in 1904 and they used to keep records of the temperature. Nothing has changed. The weather is just as erratic as it ever was. Were you around in 1918 when the men built a hotel in their shirtsleeves IN JANUARY? How about 1934 where they had the crops all planted by the end of March? Sadly that was the year the crops were all frozen in July. How about 1947 where there was so much snow they had to tunnel between the stores in the towns? How about 1968 where it got down to -40 every night for 6 weeks straight. Yeah the weather is the weather and to say that somehow it is more erratic now is to completely ignore all the weather history since weather records were kept.

@hippyjoe1955 you are much more predictable than the weather!!!!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ServantOfTheGoddess As are you. You keep falling for the 'official narrative' and no actual evidence will ever convince you otherwise. You just aren't very bright. Kind of sad but dang it is funny watching you make a complete fool of yourself time after time after time. How many jabs did you get?

@ServantOfTheGoddess You're responding to your own posts? Just talk it out among yourself 😄

@Really I'm responding to Hippie Joe's comments on my comments. Maybe you sensibly have him blocked? :D

@ServantOfTheGoddess You have no idea how science works. Here is a clue. Anecdotal evidence is valid. Enough of it pretty much 'proves' the point. All data comes from anecdotal evidence.

DEAD WRONG. As usual.

@ServantOfTheGoddess Ah, I see. As respectfully as possible, can I suggest you put the "@ name" in your posts. I wish every one would do that. The forum threads are hard enough to follow as it is 🤔
@Really If the person being replied to has blocked you (or you blocked them), then you won't see the "@ name" when you display the thread. The person being replied to here has the nickname dippyjoe, and the "@name" is visible to me.

@ElwoodBlues If I've blocked someone I not only would not see their user name but also would not see their posts - at least that's what I think I understand? Please tell me if I've got that wrong. If I respond to someone whose post is visible I can normally include '@ name' as part of my post; inserting it by choice, or automatically via the 'reply' function. It seems to me like common courtesy & respect for effective communication.

@Really I see the @username of the person I am responding to, in my reply. It seems like @ElwoodBlues is correct and you don't see it because of a block situation. @Andrew @Nuno this seems like a glitch that needs fixing!
Really · 80-89, M
@ServantOfTheGoddess Interesting. Thanks for the info. I wonder if the glitch will get fixed. Probably souldn't be a high priority on the fixit list anyway? 🙂
@Really The way SW behaves in cases of blocking has changed over time; I can't give you an exact description for right now. But my guess is you're seeing no posts from the aformentioned dippy individual; only responses by people like myself and @servant...
