Pandas actually don't have trouble breeding, at least not more than any other species in captivity. Most animals in captivity have trouble breeding, not just pandas. The reason they're on the verge of extinction is mainly due to human interference. They breed just fine in the wild. They're mostly dying off because we keep destroying their habitat and putting them in zoos
